Isaiah 48:11-13

¹¹ I do this for myself, for my own sake.
    ·I will not [^LHow could I…?] let ·people speak evil against me [^Lmy name be defiled/profaned],
and I will not ·let some god take my glory [^Lgive/share my glory with another].

¹² “·People of Jacob [^LJacob], listen to me.
    ·People of Israel [^LIsrael], ·I have called you to be my people [^Lwhom I called].
I am ·God [^Lhe; the one];
    I am the ·beginning and the end [^Lfirst and I am the last; 41:4; 44:5].
¹³ I ·made [^Llaid the foundation of] the earth with my own hands.
    With my right hand I spread out the skies.
When I call them,
    they ·come [stand] together before me.”
